Envisions Math

We utilize the Envisions Math program, a comprehensive and research-based curriculum designed to build strong mathematical foundations while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through this program, students benefit from lessons that connect math concepts to real-world applications, helping students see the relevance of math in their daily lives; visual models and digital resources that make abstract concepts more accessible and engaging; and a focus on problem-solving.

HMH Literacy

We proudly implement the HMH Literacy Program, a comprehensive and research-based curriculum designed to foster a love for reading, writing, and lifelong learning.

Phonics Program

We use the Heggerty and Fundations programs to provide a strong foundation in phonics, phonemic awareness, and early literacy skills, setting our students on the path to reading success.

SOCIAL STUDIES

The New York City K-5 Scope and Sequence is a comprehensive resource that integrates national standards, the New York State Social Studies Core Curriculum (content, concepts, key ideas, understandings and performance indicators) and the NYS K-5 Social Studies Framework. Each yearly course of study is organized around a suggested time frame for core content guided by essential questions.

SCIENCE

Amplify Science is a science curriculum that blends hands-on investigations, literacy-rich activities, and interactive digital tools to empower students to think, read, write, and argue like real scientists and engineers. It is designed to spark our elementary students’ interest and empower them to ask more questions, think more critically, and generate innovative ideas.

Technology

We are committed to preparing our students for the digital age by providing access to cutting edge technology and resources that enhance learning. Our technology offerings include: 1:1 Device Program where each student is equipped with a personal device to support learning both in and out of the classroom; Classrooms are outfitted with interactive SMART Boards, making lessons more engaging and collaborative; Digital Learning Platforms for reading, math, science, and more, offering personalized learning experiences tailored to individual needs. Our goal is to ensure that every student develops the skills they need to succeed in a technology-driven world while fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Visual Arts

We have a partnership with Studio in a School which brings professional artists into the classroom to inspire creativity and nurture artistic expression. Through hands-on workshops, students engage in visual arts projects such as painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture.
